If you’d like to start at week four of my pregnancy journey, click here!
This week, I’m combining two weeks’ worth of posts into one post.
Why, you ask?
Because I can!
I was in Michigan for nearly all of week 33 and week 34, so I figured I would just share with you the highlights.
Plus, I promised some 3D/4D ultrasound pictures in my 32 weeks post, and I know that’s why you’re really here.
At 33 weeks, Baby is the size of a…
She’s about 19″ long and she weighs around 4.5 pounds.
Here’s her hand size at 33 weeks:
And her foot:
And here’s the size of me at 33 weeks!
Do you see my sad, miserable face in that photo?
All fun and games went out the window at around 33 weeks, because that’s when the uncomfortable, achy pains started to set in.
But who cares when I’ve got 3D/4D photos to show you!!!!!
Are you ready?
Here she is!!!
Here she is sucking her thumb. *swoon* Did you know? I was a thumb-sucker!
Here she is sucking her thumb AND sticking her tongue out:
IF THAT ISN’T THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BABY YOU’VE EVER SEEN, YOU’RE LYING AND YOU CAN JUST GET OUT OF TOWN!!!!
GOD I am obsessed with her!!!!
This 3D/4D scan was by FAR the most incredible thing I’ve ever done in my life, and I will absolutely be doing it for all of my subsequent offspring.
I could truly go on and on about how amazing that scan was and how perfect I think my daughter is, but we’ve got a lot of information to push out in today’s post, so let’s keep things moving.
Week 33 was spent in Michigan, like I said, and, really, I just relaxed the whole time and hung out with my mom in the cool Michigan air.
At 34 weeks, baby is the size of a…
She’s about 19″ long and somewhere around five pounds.
Here’s the size of her hand at 34 weeks:
And her foot:
If you recall, week 34 was the week of Brother-In-Law’s wedding!
It was a gorgeous wedding. And an absolute blast. Here I am with my handsome spouse:
So… (I’m really moving things along here, today, aren’t I?)
I mentioned in my email to my subscribers that I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.
I will be shutting down this blog after Baby Girl’s birth.
That’s my other big announcement:
I’m going back to school to get my nursing degree.
It’s been a few months in the making, this plan, but I kept it a secret until everything was set in stone.
Everything is now set in stone.
In a few years, I’ll be a nurse.
(I’ll explain my reasoning for pursuing a nursing degree in a future post.)
I have LOVED maintaining this blog and keeping my subscribers up-to-date about my life and thoughts, but it’s time to bring this journey to a close.
I will be very busy come January with classes and a newborn, and, really, life won’t be slowing down for me after that.
This blog has served its purpose for me and for you, and it’s time to move on with my life.
Who knows? Maybe I’ll start another one down the road when life settles down.
But don’t worry – I’ll keep writing and publishing posts until Baby Girl is born so you can see my pregnancy through to the end.
After that – sayonara!
Since I’m doing everything IN MY POWER TO GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME, our final goodbye may come sooner rather than later.
But, if my child is anything like me, we might be waiting for more than a few more weeks……..
Anyway, that’s all for today! Stay tuned for next week’s post, which includes details of my latest OB appointment!
